Easy and Memorable Mother's Day Ideas To Do At Home

Brunch Recipes There’s no better surprise than whipping up a delicious brunch for your mom! Here are three ideas you can recreate in your kitchen: Blueberry Pancakes Ingredients: 1 ¾ cups flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 1 ½ cups of frozen blueberries ½ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt 2 large eggs 1 cup milk 1 cup sour cream 1 stick of butter Directions: Mix in flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, sour cream, butter, and vanilla. After you mix the egg mixture, add it into the dry ingredients and whisk until fully blended. Next, add the frozen blueberries into the batter then start pouring it onto a large skillet over medium heat. After you are done making the pancakes you should be good to go! Smashed Avocado Toast with Egg Ingredients: 1 avocado 1 tablespoon lemon juice Salt and pepper 4 slices of bread 4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and sliced 1 bunch of radishes Chopped fresh chives and sesame seeds Directions: In a medium bowl, smash avocado with lemon juice and ¼ teaspoon of salt and pepper. Next, spread the avocado mixture on your toast and top with eggs and radishes with a sprinkle of chives and sesame seeds. Quiche Ingredients: 1 pie crust 6 large eggs ¾ milk ¾ teaspoon salt ¼ black pepper 1 cup cooked ham 1 ½ cups shredded cheese 3 tablespoons green onions Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Unroll pie crust and press into a 9” pie plate. In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Next, sprinkle in ham, 1 cup of cheese, and green onions into the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture over the top. Sprinkle the remainder of the cheese on top of the egg mixture and bake for 35 minutes. Wait for 5 minutes after you take the quiche out of the oven to serve.
